2012 was a special year for the Horiuchis. Mdm. Zhou Xhiayan was celebrating her 95th birthday. It also coincided with the 40th anniversary of normalization in Japan-China diplomatic relations.
Charity Concerts for Earthquake and Tsunami, 2012
One year after the Earthquake and Tsunami devastated Japan on 11 March 2011, the Horiuchis helped to organize a series of charity opera concerts for fundraising dedicated to the victims and survivors.
Masterclasses
The Horiuchis organise Masterclasses in many places around the world. They are a spontaneous and casual meeting of people who are passionate about opera and singing.
