Japan-China Opera Gala

2012 was a special year for the Horiuchis. Mdm. Zhou Xhiayan was celebrating her 95^th birthday. It also coincided with the 40^th anniversary of normalization in Japan-China diplomatic relations. The Horiuchis and ten singers from Japan, China and Ukraine, together with three pianists, celebrated the occasion by giving the Gala Concert on 6^th October 2012 at Biwako Hall (Main Theatre), Shiga. 1,500 people attended the concert.
